Food Packaging Safety upgrade – MC99 Safety Upgrade
Retrofit of a compliant function safety system to a 25 year old Sanko FC-1000 sugar stick production machine.
The Customer authorised an immediate safety upgrade following an incident when a servo drive activated whilst an operator access gate was open. The risk was accessed and calculated, the control system reliability calculated to exceed the risk, the system built, installed and tested.
The machine was safety returned to production.
