Multi-Story Office Electrical Load Control – Mitsubishi Q series PLC, Mitsubishi Link CC, Mitsubishi MX SCADA, Auto load control.

Program, Supply, inhouse test and fit a distributed control system for a multi-story building. System based on an industrial distributed i/o network. On generator start non critical loads are shed, generators stability is confirmed before intelligent load control kicks in. From the SCADA system 31 different loads can be customised: Critical or lower priority schedule, expected load in amps and their position in a priority schedule list for automatic connection or disconnection depending on the monitored load taken from the generators. For example the passenger lifts would be high in the critical load schedule.

In order to protect the generators the system could actively shed loads starting with the lowest connected priority load.

This is a Mitsubishi Q series PLC, Mitsubishi Link CC and SCADA application. The Mitsubishi Link CC system has previously shown itself to be a robust distributed control system and at the time was chosen for this application to implement control across the building.
