Data Centre – LV Mains/Generator Auto Transfer System. (Mitsubishi Q Series)

This is a dual channel fault-tolerant, auto transfer system – the control system aspect was entirely designed, installed and commissioned by Soft Control Ltd. Enhanced reliability was achieved by

1. Eliminating, where possible, single points of failure.
2. Comprehensive system monitoring with immediate reporting.
3. Duplicate LV control paths, PLC systems and 24vdc control voltage UPS units.
4. Dynamic transfer of control between the dual channels.
5. Consistent access to the original design personnel.

Installed 2009 the system has dealt with multiple mains outages and immediately alerted personnel of internal faults on the control system and on the remote equipment.
