A Siemens TIA Portal PLC and HMI software rewrite/Retrofit project approaches completion. The machine was kept in production during weekdays with the commissioning of the new system during the weekends.
A New HMI screen was developed to assist the Customer’s production and maintenance staff. The sequence control software was largely developed to provide a new more efficient sequence and detailed fault diagnosis.
The HMI screens look more friendly to staff and look really pretty. It took 3 weekends to locate and identify the sensors working in difficult conditions – the information was programmed into dedicated screens – Maintenance will love it!
